I purchased this form Mary's website (link is below) before it became available here on . I am a beginning banjo player and I am inspired by her and her excellent playing. Though I am somewhat partial to folk (a la Kingston Trio) and Celtic, the other songs she plays are great and shows the wide range of skill that she has in playing the banjo. Her brother Frank and others accompany her in this video as well. I must say it is interesting to hear "Joy" by Beethoven played on the banjo.
I don't think it is clear in the "Book Description" section that the tabs are for both banjo and guitar with the chords for each shown separately. However, the book is basically a banjo book of tabs for the songs.
The video is in two parts
The first part shows how the songs are presented as a live performance while the the second part is for learning how the songs are played with examples at a slower pace along with tips.
"Mean" Mary obtained that handle because of one of the first songs that she wrote was titled "Mean Mary form Alabam'." As you know she is not really "mean," but one could say that she plays a "mean" banjo though.

Awaiting arrival of Marys' book and dvd....Went to see her a month ago on her U.K. tour...Fantastic performance and such a nice person with all the time in the world for her followers...She was happy to sign my banjo and I hope a miniscule piece of her talent rubs off...
